During the promotions of his latest movie Kanguva, Suriya confirmed his involvement in Ghajini 2, stating that producer Allu Aravind had cracked the idea for the sequel. Suriya expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “Ghajini 2 might happen,” indicating that talks are in progress, and both he and Aamir Khan have shown initial interest in the project.

Moving Away from the Remake Formula

One of the key reasons why Ghajini 2 is generating such buzz is the decision to avoid the traditional remake approach. According to reports, both Aamir Khan and Suriya believe that a remake would take away the uniqueness of the story. Instead, they are working closely with the producers to craft a narrative that stands on its own while retaining the essence of the Ghajini legacy.

Ghajini 2: Returns is rumored to be a highly ambitious sequel to the iconic 2008 Bollywood film "Ghajini," directed by A.R. Murugadoss. This time, it is speculated that both Aamir Khan and Suriya, who starred in the original Tamil version of Ghajini will come together in a unique crossover format. The film also reportedly features Bobby Deol in a significant role, adding an intriguing twist to the story.
